The "Blue and Sustainable Development Opportunities for Indonesian Marine Fisheries" Report Conference and Signing Ceremony were grandly held at the All Union Joint Harvesting Conference

On the morning of December 1st, the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (hereinafter referred to as "the Indonesian Ministry of Fisheries") visited Quanlian Jicai Aquatic Products (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Quanlian Jicai"). Chen Dan, Chairman of Guangdong Hengxing Group Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Quanlian Jicai, Chen Si, President of Zhanjiang Aquatic Products Circulation and Processing Association and General Manager of Quanlian Jicai, and a delegation warmly welcomed the visiting foreign guests.

Before the meeting, General Manager Chen Si warmly welcomed the visit of Minister Sachti Huayu Trengono and his delegation. Subsequently, it provided a detailed introduction to the innovative business model of the digital supply chain of "ecology+technology+finance" for fully integrated procurement, and elaborated in depth on the practical achievements of digital empowerment for upgrading the aquatic industry, relying on platforms to empower small and medium-sized enterprises, and driving the high-quality development of the aquatic industry. At the same time, we are willing to work together with the Minister to promote the trade, investment, and cooperation of aquatic products between China and Indonesia.

Minister Sachti Wayo Trengono fully affirmed the contribution of full joint harvesting to the digital transformation of the aquaculture industry, and introduced the situation of Indonesian fisheries. He analyzed the current situation, development trends, and cooperation opportunities of Indonesian marine fisheries in depth, and hoped to provide more high-quality Indonesian aquatic products to the Chinese market.

Subsequently, the "Blue and Sustainable Development Opportunities for Indonesian Marine Fisheries" promotion and signing ceremony, jointly organized by the Zhanjiang Aquatic Products Circulation and Processing Association, Zhanjiang Aquatic Products Import and Export Enterprise Association, and Guangdong Hengxing Group Co., Ltd., was held at the All Union Harvesting Conference. More than 100 representatives from China and Indonesia's aquaculture industry attended the signing ceremony.

       At the beginning of the event, Chairman Chen Dan delivered a welcoming speech, expressing sincere welcome to the Indonesian delegation and guests from all parties. He emphasized that Zhanjiang has abundant fishery industry resources and a solid foundation in the aquatic industry. As a key national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, Hengxing has utilized its technology, experience, and talent advantages to achieve the goal of exporting aquatic products abroad and exporting Chinese solutions, technologies, and standards. At present, Hengxing has two feed factories in Indonesia and is expanding its seed and aquatic product processing business. It will gradually improve its aquatic food industry chain in Indonesia and invite guests to explore the Indonesian market to jointly promote the development of the blue economy.

       Minister Sachti Wayo Trengono stated that Indonesia has excellent natural and climatic conditions in the ocean, and the potential of the marine fishery industry is enormous. Indonesia is vigorously developing its fisheries sector and has introduced many favorable policies and plans. We look forward to strengthening our understanding and cooperation in aquaculture and other fields through this conference, and welcome excellent Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Indonesia.

       Under the joint authentication of the attendees, the Indonesian Ministry of Fisheries and Guangdong Hengxing Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Development Project of Integrated Shrimp Farming in Indonesia, marking the substantive stage of cooperation between China and Indonesia in the field of marine fisheries.

       This report meeting and signing ceremony is an important milestone in the cooperation between China and Indonesia in marine fisheries. The two sides will gradually deepen and expand their cooperation areas starting from the shrimp farming industry chain, combining their respective advantages and resources. At the same time, it also shows the determination and ability of Chinese enterprises to enter the international market under the initiative of the "the Belt and Road" policy.
