Quanlian Cold Chain Logistics Park Completed and Operational
On June 19, the Quanlian Cold Chain Logistics Park, developed by Quanlian Aquatic Products Collection (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., officially commenced operations. This modern logistics hub integrates international seafood trading and smart warehousing. Leveraging its strategic location and intelligent infrastructure, it serves as a new global cold-chain nexus—marking a significant milestone for Zhanjiang and China’s seafood industry in building a modern, intelligent, and integrated aquatic supply chain.
With a total investment of RMB 920 million, the park features a 150,000-tonne full temperature-zone smart cold-storage complex (precise temperature control between –30 °C and 15 °C), accommodating diverse storage needs from deep-sea seafood to tropical fruit. Its intelligent coldchain management system—utilizing IoT and AI—boosts warehouse throughput efficiency by 300%, while a visual temperature-control platform logs real-time temperature and humidity data, solidifying digital safeguards for food safety.
The park pioneers a “sharing economy + industrial empowerment” model: its shared processing center handles pre-processing, packaging, and testing; the shared warehousing platform uses dynamic inventory management to reduce costs; and digital tools—including coldchain finance, IoT big data, and optimized logistics networks—help enterprises precisely match orders and optimize delivery routes. This enables tenant companies to focus on core value creation with minimal overhead.
Since inception, Quanlian has been on a mission to drive the seafood industry’s upgrade, building a global intelligent digital aquatic service platform. With over 600 industry members, it now operates across global frozen-goods sourcing, offering supplychain financing, import clearance, warehousing, logistics, and more—addressing industry challenges and achieving “smart+” integration of online and offline supply chains with unified data, logistics, finance, and services.
Mr. Chen Dan (Chairman of Evergreen Group & Quanlian), stated that upon full completion in 2026, the park’s competitive edge—storing at lower rates than outbound transport costs—will attract global aquatic products. It aims to reach RMB 10 billion in international annual trade, RMB 5 billion in annual sales, RMB 1 billion in tax revenue, and create over 300 jobs. It will streamline industry operations by solving “first and last mile” logistics issues, boost regional economic activity by making Zhanjiang a global seafood hub, and benefit the public by making quality seafood more affordable and safe.
The inauguration ceremony featured speeches by Tian Quanhai, President of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce Seafood Chamber; Xian Shanggui, President of Zhanjiang Aquatic Circulation and Processing Association; representatives from finance, clients, and others. Several cooperation agreements were signed at the event.
