Quanlian’s Digital Intelligence Recognized Again with Two Data Intellectual Property Certificates

Recently, Quanlian was awarded two Data Intellectual Property Registration Certificates by the Guangdong Provincial Data Intellectual Property Registration Platform, namely “Market Procurement Analysis Data of Frozen Vannamei Shrimp with Head and Shell” and “Order Analysis Data of Frozen Vannamei Shrimp (Headless, Shell-On).” This milestone marks a solid step forward in the confirmation and application of data as a production factor, and represents an important achievement in Quanlian’s digital transformation journey.

Data is a key production factor in the digital economy. The Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council have clearly stated in their Opinions on Building a Data Basic System and Better Leveraging the Role of Data Elements that a property rights system for data should be established, supporting the registration and transaction of data resources. The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) has launched data IP protection pilots in eight regions, including Guangdong. To date, Guangdong has seen 497 entities participate, with 636 certificates issued. Zhanjiang enterprises have been awarded 62 of these, with Quanlian securing two, making it the first enterprise in Zhanjiang to obtain aquatic-related data intellectual property rights. The two registered data assets are both derived from Quanlian’s real-world international seafood trade transactions. The “Market Procurement Analysis Data of Frozen Vannamei Shrimp with Head and Shell” covers multiple dimensions such as product categories, specifications, grades, USD unit prices, and monthly average price differentials, offering valuable insights for policymakers, enterprises optimizing procurement, and financial institutions conducting supply chain risk assessments. The “Order Analysis Data of Frozen Vannamei Shrimp (Headless, Shell-On)” consolidates information such as order prices, transaction volumes, suppliers, countries of origin, and advance payment ratios, providing authoritative references for market research, credit assessment, and risk control. These achievements demonstrate Quanlian’s pioneering role in the assetization of aquaculture data and provide replicable models for the industry.
